Where are some common places employees be found after work hours (pre-pandemic)?

Stout the first Thursday afternoon of each month. In our back parking lot having a BBQ or chili cookoff. Judge Beans. Local Taco. Puffy Muffin for team meetings in the morning.

What do you like best about your Tennessee office location?

The people of Tennessee are friendly, entrepreneurial and innovative problem solvers and truly live up the the name Volunteers. No state income tax is a significant plus as well!

What’s the most Nashville thing about your company?

Every Christmas we send our clients who are in 170+ countries treats from companies made in Tennessee. These have included GooGoo's, Christie Cookies, Moon Pies, Nashville Toffee, maybe even some Jack Daniels and more!

What’s the most exciting thing about being part of the Nashville tech industry?

Nashville is an incredible city that is vibrant, active and fun! We love being based in Nashville and being around all the incredible technology companies that are based here.

How do you foster creativity, collaboration, and inclusion?

Are roots are very entrepreneurial when the company's first four founders - Brian Fox, Janette Houser, Chris Schellhorn and Dave Malone worked for the first two years in Brian's Grandmother's garage. As the business has grown to having offices in 15 countries it has remained true to its entrepreneurial start. Today the company is an Agile/Scrum company even having brought in the founders of Scrum - Scrum Inc. - to help ensure that Confirmation continued to be innovative and fast-paced even as it scaled. Today Scrum is not just part of the Development team, but is used throughout the entire company from Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Accounting, Finance, Product and Development. This is a core reason why Confirmation was on the Inc. 500 2 years in a row and on the Inc. 5000 for an incredible 10 years straight.

Describe your company's impact on the Nashville tech scene. How are you fostering its growth?

Confirmation.com helped pioneer and usher in Nashville's FinTech scene with other awesome FinTech companies like Investment Scorecard and PMT Services.

How have you created a modern structure that meets your employees’ diverse work styles?

We completely revamped our offices to be modular and flexible with a focus on Scrum Teams, transparency and visibility. We employ this thought process not only in our physical office space but in the tools and collaboration services and work schedules we utilize as well.
