LBMC provides a human-first approach to the workplace. Before COVID we provided everyone with the time and resources to work flexible schedules both at home and in the office. We are primarily a hybrid workforce. Many on our senior leadership team choose to come into the office more often to ensure they are available for face-to-face trainings and mentorship opportunities to team members. We have industry experts that lead every team and rely heavily on our mentorship groups to help new team members progress in their career. Everyone at LBMC is on the path to Shareholder (Partner) and we take personal and professional development very seriously, having a dedicated Talent Development team who assists in curating learning programs and providing CPE credit to all employees.

Where are some common places employees be found after work hours (pre-pandemic)?

We are right in the heart of Brentwood with several happy hour bars and patios that are a quick walk from the office!

What do you like best about your Tennessee office location?

We have three office locations in Tennessee which enables us to provide regional care and attention to our clients in all 50 states!

What’s the most Nashville thing about your company?

We are headquartered here! Founded close to 40 years ago on solid relationships within the Nashville market, LBMC has continued to expand across the Southeast and is now the largest professional services provider based in Tennessee.

What are some popular spots for team outings?

Our Young Professionals groups enjoy a good happy hour, sporting event, or downtown event venue and our Women's Initiative Network has 9 community groups who meet in a variety of themed locations. Some community group outings include first time moms meeting at parks for child play time, outdoor enthusiasts getting out in nature to hike or kayak, and lunchtime networking groups who love a good extended lunch break in the Nashville food scene!

What’s the most exciting thing about being part of the Nashville tech industry?

The most exciting thing about being part of the Nashville tech industry is how involved our leaders are! Several of our Shareholders sit on technology or community organization boards and participate in regional speaking engagements at conferences and universities. We enjoy having industry experts leading our everyday teams!

How do you foster creativity, collaboration, and inclusion?

LBMC provides robust training, mentorship, and continuing professional education support to all employees, curated through our LBMC Talent Development Team. LBMC also provides a "buddies and mentors" program where all new staff members are partnered with a senior team member who are focused on providing both personal and professional growth opportunities for junior team members so they are able to be not only a functional, but crucial part of our dynamic technology teams.

Our technology leaders are passionate about reaching out to the next generation of tech entrepreneurs through speaking engagements at local universities, immersive internship programs, and everyday networking opportunities.

Pre-pandemic LBMC placed a strong emphasis on providing dynamic technology solutions for office, hybrid, and fully remote workers and we are continuing to provide flexible schedules and work arrangements for employees all across the country.
