We’re a hospitality technology company dedicated to revolutionizing how hotels operate worldwide. In an industry of fragmented systems and limited technology, Quore provides a solution that allows hospitality teams to track, manage and prioritize work across departments, properties and locales. During your last hotel stay, if your room was clean, the in-room appliances were fully functioning and your request for extra towels was addressed quickly then that hotel was probably using Quore. We support hotel staff in their day-to-day for better guest experiences, which means smarter teams and happier guests.

To help guide us in our work and play here at Quore, we, like many companies, have central values at the core of what we embody in our environment and how we work together. Here’s a quick rundown: We build for the end user. Our end-user is the housekeeper working long hours, the engineer struggling to communicate, the front desk agent logging dozens of guest requests—those are the lives we’re here to improve. We exceed expectations. We believe there’s a difference between “good-enough” and “great.” We strive for excellence in everything we do so that we can deliver beyond what’s expected. We solve problems. We acknowledge when there’s a problem, but we focus on solutions—we’re all about improving the lives of our customers, so if we don’t like the way something works, we fix it! We push boundaries. We don’t think there are any limitations on how awesome our work can be—we challenge ourselves to think outside the box and push past boundaries. We lead with passion. We believe in Quore—if we didn’t, we wouldn’t be here. We lead with that passion, and we’re honest about how much we care. That's what sets us apart. We celebrate uniqueness. We believe our differences make us stronger, so we’ll never be ordinary. When we embrace our uniqueness, we work better, build better products and have more fun—together! To be successful at Quore, you not only need to talk the talk with these values, you need to walk the walk and encourage them in your fellow Team Quore members. And take the time to acknowledge when someone exemplifies our values! We use Q Cards to write little notes of praise and thanks when our coworkers demonstrate their Quore colors. Don’t hesitate to write one, or two or fifteen of those and pass them out to your team members when they impress you. That’s part of walking the walk, too.
What is your company doing to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion?
We celebrate uniqueness—it says so in our Quore Values! As such, it’s important to us that Quore is a place where you feel like you can be completely yourself. We want each member of our team to show up as their true and authentic self-everyday, whatever that looks like for them. Being a member of #TeamQuore means we love, respect and accept you for exactly who you are. We celebrate our differences (and similarities!) and honor the backgrounds and experiences of our team.
Describe your workplace vibe.
Like any good hospitality experience, our workplace vibe is fun, friendly and family-like, yappy dog and dad jokes included. Quore fosters a light-hearted, enjoyable and family-like experience for both our own employees and our customers.
Where are some common places employees be found after work hours (pre-pandemic)?
We’re a social bunch that loves games and a good “Quappy Hour” (and puns, of course!). Our office space lends itself very nicely to after hours fun. You can find some employees staying late into the night in our game room playing video games, in our kitchen playing card and board games or in the lounge for a watch party for a big sports game on the big screen.
What do you like best about your Tennessee office location?
We are in an energetic part of town near other businesses, restaurants, shopping and just about anything else you could need without a terrible commute. It’s a reverse commute for our employees coming from Nashville and a quick trip down 65 for those further south.
What’s the most Nashville thing about your company?
We’re a Nashville company created by a native Nashvillian. Our Founder and CEO, Scott Schaedle, is a Nashville native and created Quore in a local hotel right down the road from our office.
What are some popular spots for team outings?
Team Quore is highly motivated by food and themes so most team outings revolve around those. Team lunches, Sunday brunch, movie premieres and Nashville FC games are a regular occurrence, but everyone’s favorite outing is our annual holiday party. In our most festive, and tacky, attire we celebrate with a white elephant exchange and karaoke. Needless to say, we’re really looking forward to 2021.
What’s the most exciting thing about being part of the Nashville tech industry?
The growth our industry has seen since 2012 is incredible! It used to be dominated by larger corporations, but the growth we’ve seen amongst start-ups and small to mid-sized tech companies is inspiring! And not just in Nashville, but in the surrounding areas. There’s more opportunities for talent in the area and it’s luring talented professionals to the area.
How do you foster creativity, collaboration, and inclusion?
We support—and advocate for—our differences. We’re a company made up of unique individuals with shared goals. That’s why you’ll see people of all kinds here at Quore, from blue-haired developers to button-downed account executives. Our differences are what give us an edge and help us learn and grow with one another professionally and personally.
